Liam Allan was born two weeks ago on January 17, 2017. We are so excited that he is healthy and well. I had a C- section and at 7:07 he was born.
He came out at a whopping 12 pounds and 15 ounce. (Did you just gulp?) Ya he was a big guy! Thank goodness it was a C-section. Even though he is a chunk he is still very small. I was surprised the first time I held him after hearing his weight, that he was still a little infant. Duh. Why was I so surprised? Well he was in the NICU for a couple of days, and then we were able to go home. And we have been loving on him ever sense. Love our little chunk.
So life on the coast is awesome, except for one thing, sand. There is sand everywhere!!! One trip to the beach and I find sand in my house for days. Its driving me crazy! But I think its worth it. I will just have to get used to the fact that my car will have sand in it no matter what.
Today we decided to take a walk down to a little shop called Cheesecake Dreamations. And we ate our feelings in Cheesecake.
We got a dozen individual Cheesecakes, including Chocolate, Raspberry, Snicker doodle, Oreo, Orange Creamcicle, and Original.
We are getting so spoiled living so close to the beach. We definitely are starting to get used to it! At least once a week we try to go as a family. Our favorite is Del Monte Beach in Monterey, but we have branched out a few times.
You would think after being here sense February that we would be better prepared for the beach, but we are not. That should probably be a goal for us because it would save us a lot of stress when we go.
Life next to the beach for me has been learning that we are always going to have sand in our car, and shoes. One day a little boy was talking to Holden about going to school, and Holden said "I don't go to school. I go to the beach." Yep that't our life right now.
Oh hey. Welcome to my blog. You probably ended up here because you want to know more life updates about our little family. Or maybe because you just want to see more pictures of cute kids.
So life in Monterey has been busy! There is so many things to do around here for families. I sometimes don't know what to pick first! And if all else fails my kids and I are pretty content with sitting on the beach. Who wouldn't be!?
Plus around here we have this view that is easy on the eyes.
We are having fun.
Here is one more cute picture for good measure.
